AN INTRODUCTION TO MIND MAPPING

Mind Mapping is a flexible and easy-to-learn skill! Often used as a way to get new writing projects started, it helps you generate ideas and encourages you to organize your thinking right from the word go.
Note that Mind Mapping can also be used for small and big projects. The difference is in how much detail you add to it!
A MENTAL PICTURE
Imagine a tree in winter, after it's leaves have fallen off. Notice that its biggest, thickest branches break off from the trunk — and that those branches then break off into smaller and smaller branches! A good Mind Map shows connected ideas in much the same way!
