I always feel nervous the night before the first day of school in September.
peaceful, calm, relaxed
The word nervous comes from the nerve cells in our bodies. They allow us to see, hear, smell, taste and touch the world around us. Scientists estimate that there are at least one hundred billion nerve cells in a human brain alone — and billions more throughout the rest of the body. Biologists describe this vast network of nerves as the central nervous system. When we feel nervous, it's because our nerve cells are working especially hard!!!!
